| God sure is good (all the time). He always provides just when I need it, when I least expect it. I know at times it's hard to trust, so hard. But He'll come through if you just rest in that - He promises that if we "seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness... all things will be provided for you" (Mt. 6:33). I've come to learn that even when I'm not seeking all that I should, HE is STILL faithful in providing. It's kind of a smack in the face. Of course God's faithfulness will continue even in my disbelief for He cannot (does not) contradict Himself (Rom. 3:4). It's hard to take confidence in that which you know nothing - but I take confidence in this: "... There is nothing covered that won't be uncovered, and nothing hidden that won't be made known. What I tell you in the dark, speak in the light. What you hear in a whisper, proclaim on the housetops. Don't fear those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul; rather, fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Aren't two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father's consent. But even the hairs of your head have all been counted. Don't be afraid therefore;
you are worth more than many sparrows." |

braces. again. Monday.
Rovner will, once again, be attaching those lovely silver brackets and wires to my upper teef. Ugh. I was cursed with the teeth of a jackal. lol. not entirely, but yeah...
On the brighter side, the Iowa State Fair is coming up here in 4 days... pretty sure that's got me stoked. And even MORE exciting -- school starts next week -- can I get a witness?!?
